Carlow cac Junior member Lewis Parr had the shock of his life whilst dead baiting today after school with a small shop bought Roach.
Lewis was fishing in a well know Carlow Town hot spot for a Pike when all of a sudden his rod signaled a bite which spun the rod right around and the young lad had the sense to let the tension off and play the fish!
Imagine the suprise on the wee mans face when he eventually landed the fish he thought was actually a Pike!

Was good to see the wee man release the fish back to the water safe and well!
